The 115 Days Interpretation Center, located in Corbera d'Ebre, recovers the memory of those people who had to put their ideals and their lives at stake in a tragic way. The permanent exhibition of the center is divided into seven areas that, through sensations, transport visitors to the spaces of the battle and its military and political factors. The center also invites us to reflect on the need to recover democratic memory and reconciliation with our past.
This interpretation center is part of the "Spaces of the Battle of the Ebro", a project that highlights and disseminates the most outstanding memory spaces of the war, and makes known both the combat strategies and the daily lives of soldiers and of civilians in a war scene.
The project is managed by the Ebro Battle Spaces Memorial Consortium (COMEBE).
La Trinchera is an exhibition of authentic vintage material and pieces. It is the result of years of patient research in the same places where the battle of the Ebro took place of altruistic donations, exchanges and also some acquisitions. It is an initiative of Pere Sanz, a collector and restorer who likes history and war archeology.
