Josep Cañada
(Barcelona, 1951)

Painter and graphic designer, Josep Cañada studied design and sculpture in the Escola d'Arts and the Oficis Artístics in Barcelona. His work has been exhibited mainly in Catalonia, Minorca and France as well as in Holland and Spain as part of more than one hundred exhibitions.

His work has been exhibited alone as well as part of other exhibitions. He is a founding member of the cultural association «zero mig partit pel mig» with his own branch in Corbera d'Ebre as well as being one of the instigators of the «Freedom alphabet» project in Corbera d'Ebre and the «Art al Ras a la Terra Alta» project. He is editor of the plastic arts magazine «Mansanes i Pataques».
